WEEK 2 (28/2 - 6/3)

In week 2, there are few discussions on my FYP1 title. Since the project under Ts. Dr. Izanoordina and the project is a collaboration with other company which is Agrovoltech, a modern farmer in Malaysia.

Ts. Dr. Izanoordina told me to make the title more general and focus on one scope of system. Thus, after a few discussions, we came to conclusion to change the title to "Development of IoT based Fertigation System in Agriculture".

The FYP briefing also done in the same week. The briefing explained the important date for FYP and the FYP Calendar for this semester.

WEEK 5 (21/3 - 27/3)

In week 5, I presented the scoped of project, limitation of project and synopsis of the project. The scope of this project is to create a system where the system will the collect data of the fruits’ crops, which are eggplant, lady finger and cucumber. As for the limitation, since the project is a collaboration with Agrovoltec, the farm are 2 hectare and above. Therefore the main limitation of this project is the lack of the internet connectivity of the certain area made it more challenging.   The synopsis are same as the FYP title registration, which is: "IoT based fertigation system is a type of irrigation system that is mixed with water-soluble fertilizers and distributed evenly through irrigation system by drip method. The system will be integrated with IoT (Internet of Things), where the parameters of crops will be monitored and controlled from websites via sensors, microcontroller, valve, and pumps. The system will automatically execute the output, where t...

WEEK 7 (4/4 - 10/4)

On week 7, I updated all the findings in excel workbook including from week 6 work. These are the findings that I presented: 9 Effect of fertigation with potassium and nitrogen on gas exchange and biomass accumulation in eggplant Álvaro Henrique Cândido de Souza, Roberto Rezende, Marcelo Zolin Lorenzoni, Fernando André Silva Santos, André Maller To evaluate the effect of fertigation with K and N on gas exchange and biomass accumulation, in eggplant cultivated under greenhouse conditions. For eggplant cultivation, the ideal temperature is 20-35 ºC (Ribeiro 2007). in a factorial scheme with four doses of N (0 kg ha-1, 67 kg ha-1, 134 kg ha-1 and 268 kg ha-1) and four doses of K (0 kg ha-1, 54 kg ha-1, 108 kg ha-1 and 216 kg ha-1), with four replicates, totaling 64 experimental units. The unit was represented by a pot with volumetric capacity of 25 L. Pots were filled with soil classified as Dystrophic Red Latosol (Oxis...
