WEEK 5 (21/3 - 27/3)

 In week 5, I presented the scoped of project, limitation of project and synopsis of the project.

The scope of this project is to create a system where the system will the collect data of the fruits’ crops, which are eggplant, lady finger and cucumber.

As for the limitation, since the project is a collaboration with Agrovoltec, the farm are 2 hectare and above. Therefore the main limitation of this project is the lack of the internet connectivity of the certain area made it more challenging.  

The synopsis are same as the FYP title registration, which is:

"IoT based fertigation system is a type of irrigation system that is mixed with water-soluble fertilizers and distributed evenly through irrigation system by drip method. The system will be integrated with IoT (Internet of Things), where the parameters of crops will be monitored and controlled from websites via sensors, microcontroller, valve, and pumps. The system will automatically execute the output, where the quantity and ration of water-soluble fertilizers will be mixed in a mixed tank with water and then distributed evenly to the soils. The output will be based on the input from the NPK sensors in the soil. The frequency injection of fertilizer will be based on the crop’s growth, environment, and soil behavior."

FYP1 workshop also done in this week, where the explanation of FYP process and submission.

WEEK 14 (30/5 - 5/6)

 On week 14, I have purchased the TTGO ESP32 board and manage to complete the proposal to be submit. The board are expected to arrive on 15 June 2022 the earliest date. The other component are put on hold since it is always restock.
